The cafe at Dulwich picture gallery - it's been a few years since I tried it but it was good back then

The gardens cafe (old electrical engineers) on Peckham Rye do a nice cream tea for ?5 per person

(scones nice and warm). Their opening hours are a bit had hoc though as it depends on how busy they are.

The Gardens Cafe does have variable service as well as variable times - there are a couple of threads on the Forum that highlight this.
