hi all

i live on whateley rd ( just by the police station at the top end of LL ) and am sick and tired of the 'animals' at No 66 who are blatently sticking there fingers up at the system who houses them , feeds them etc etc

they regularly hang out of their windows looking half cut and making alot of noise, shouting and swearing at each other late at night, having aggressive water fights all the way down the street making passers by wary they'll get targeted.

how is it that these oinks can get away with such anti social behaviour? I'm pretty sure all residents on whateley road want rid of them

anyone got any ideas ??

I passed on the other side yesterday because of the roadworks, and they were shouting and carrying on at me for walking past. They are foul mouthed ill tempered 'animals' and are frequently sat on the steps of their house being obnoxious to anyone who comes within bellowing distance of them.

How is it that a small minority of creatures like this can inflict themselves on a community and not get dealt with. When you compare it with SeanmLow getting an extortionate fine for dropping a cigar butt, and these people are free to upset all and sundry.

I feel sorry for you nbn and anyone else living close to them.

We've been here before - the forum is not a place to target identifiable neighbours in disputes. If you want to discuss this issue on the forum then you will have to do so without naming names - and you have clearly identified these people in your post - which is wrong.

    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
    • Adapted not forced.  As have numerous species around the world.  Sort of thing that Attenborough features.  Domestic dogs another good example - hung around communities for food and then we become the leader of the pack.  Not sure how long it will take foxes to domesticate, but some will be well on their way.    Raccoons also on the way https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j8j48e5z2o
