I had virgin media in my last property. Save yourself huge amounts of grief (and money) and cancel. Cant speak for sky or BT as I have never used them. With my current fiber provider I haver had only a handful of minor problems that lasted no longer then an hour or so. No engineers, no level 1 2 or 3 support, no angry emails to CEO's.

Seeing what a broadband provider can do I will never go back to VM even if they do have TiVo (which I do miss TBH, but not worth the hastle).

Same with us though it seems to have been resurrected after the internal & external cables, splitter & box replacements. We now phone them & they have to reset the box which works thus far.

Perhaps this thread should be renamed Virgin Melt Down.

    • I totally agree with jazzer having been “jumped on” by various members.. I try and help as that is the sort of person I am, but now will try hard  to just read and not reply.. was down right hurtful to have a comment made along the lines that as I was no longer as person supposed, in ED and moved somewhere else should just leave group. No longer sure what sort of people are on this group - certainly not as pleasant as it was 15 years  ago when people were pleasant, helpful and some things were a joke and much more  light hearted. Everyone has a right to their own opinion as it is a public forum- meaning anyone can join from where-ever but c maybe I have got that wrong as well / doesn’t matter as I will probably leave…
    • Doesn’t this business at the tills already happen in some grocery shops?
    • They shot part of an episode of the Bill around Camberwell Old Cemetery, a film set was nothing like this, for a start there were no cameras! Or direction, or site vehicles, or re-takes.
