Known
Food is always a distraction! I've just made more Hummus than I could possibly eat. And tucked away 6 penguin bars with acup of coffee.... KalamityKel
I've been dealing with soaking wet books & files, mould and smelly washing up liquid. Oh and I almost forgot... turning the office into a sauna with several heating devices in an attempt to dry important documents out :-| Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/3271-things-i-have-done-today-instead-of-working/page/2/#findComment-109770 Share on other sites

Bellenden Belle
Congratulations RosieH - celebrate! Don't regret a thing! I handed in my notice without a job three months ago - and left my husband three weeks later! And I survived! Good luck with the job hunting! dulwichmum
Oh Mrs B,I am so very unwell, I have been confined to my budoir all week (sigh). I have missed Ascot and my hat is sitting on my dressing table (sob). Tell me, I need to know, is a colonic worth the ...er, indignity?I hear a girl can shed almost 8 pounds during one treatment, I hate to think of putrifying matter clinging to my insides. I would love to have it washed away. I am such a modest lady though, I don't think that I could remain composed enough to allow the procedure to be conducted. I have never ever removed my underwear for a stranger in my entire life (my munchkins were born by caesarean section). On the one hand, I have read that a colonic can improve ones ability to absorb vitamins and give a girl a clear skin and sparkly eyes, but what if the presence of the "colonic sludge" actually inhibits calorie absorbtion? Knowing my luck, I would gain an increased ability to absorb calories and end up the size of a small family car. Guest
Sounds like some downstairs housekeeping could be just what you need to restore your girlish bloom and a flat stomach. It depends, to put it delicately, on quite how full of it you are, but it certainly gives you clear skin, though you may have to put up with a slight headache and tiredness immediately afterwards and a reduced ability to metabolise Chablis. PeckhamRose
I moved the living room furniture around.Instead of doing my tax return I have been meaning to do since it hit the doormat in April.Today had been a perfect day to do both.Colonic irrigation. Mmmm. Think I'd rather do a tax return. What's the number? Guest
I go to the lovely Common Sense in Clapham, which to judge from past posts goes against the grain for many ED residents. If you prefer local and don't mind a man interfering with your lower person without even buying you a drink first I understand Mike Harmon provides a service from home in Nunhead.
