numbers
I've got one, had it for years, love it.Admittedly didn't use it much for the first year as I hadn't got the knack of the dough and the whole rolling and drying process seemed incredibly fiddly. Hard work.But...persevere and if you use it regularly, you soon become accustomed to his the dough should feel and before long it won't seem like such a chore. I love making ribbon pasta on it and have made this more times than the filled shapes.Highly recommend spelt semolina for making pasta. It's delicious. My machine is an imperia and it's going to last forever. Cassius
Pasta maker - no.Bread maker - yes.Why don't you try and borrow a pasta maker and see how you get on with it - I ended up with mess everywhere and in a foul mood but really expensive models are apparently much better. pearsonville
Or alternatively;http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-make-fresh-pastaI do have a pasta machine, but I don't make pasta often, so of course it lives in a cupboard. Then I learnt how to make pasta this way and realised that the machine could be redundant. Also this is more satisfying (although I'd use a food processor to make the dough initially). :-o Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32768-do-you-use-your-pasta-maker/page/2/#findComment-653763 Share on other sites
