Yes , Paul came round the other day to put in a motion detector light in the garden, on a days' notice. He was friendly, efficient and a reasonable price!
In many places it's the businesses of the area who pay for Christmas lights. (That was the sound of LL businesses falling to the ground in a faint at the suggestion)

You'd think with all that parking fee surplus swishing around they could afford to do something? I see Vanity Square has its Christmas tree and lights already.
We have always had lights in the past. Perhaps Cllr McAsh is against such things?
