Paul is not opening in ED

Apologies Sophie1981, but is this section of the forum not named 'General ED issues / gossip'? I only shared information someone had mentioned in passing conversation, I didn't specifically know whether or not they had any plans to come to our little area of south London, hence my speculation on where they would setup a shop if indeed they did have any plans to come here in the first place, which clearly they do not according to you. Judging by their website, they seem quite an attractive shop which would ideally suit the demographic in ED. anyway, apparently they're NOT coming here so I do apologise most sincerely for using this section of the forum for what it's meant to be used for, eg sharing ED specific gossip/rumours.

Louisa.

Why on earth did you start a new thread with the sole purpose of saying that something is not happening, rather than posting on the thread the "rumour" as you call it was actually mentioned in?

Now lots more people will be aware of the "rumour" which is denied by Paul's Head Office. Applespider is right - so, it remains a rumour which may or may not be true.

And thanks for letting us all know what the purpose of the forum is :))

    • Oh. I see Neil Coyle was involved. These concerns about the election were raised a bit late in the day, weren't they? I hope somebody didn't wait until James McCash had resigned from his primary school teaching job before raising them, because on the face of it that would seem really vindictive. 🙄
    • That doesn't sound very hygienic. I would like to start swimming there again, but that has put me off. Why would anybody be taking tissues into the water? Who is responsible for the quality of the water? Surely there must be some sort of public hygiene regulations relating to this?
    • Thank you for this.  I've got three large holes dug by foxes in a very small garden! I haven't seen any actual foxes or any other sign of them. I think it's possible they may have been after ground nesting bees, as one of the holes is in a place I had white tailed bees nesting in the past. I've ordered some Scoot (found it cheapest on eBay with free delivery). It would probably drive everyone else away as well, though - I like to sit in my garden!
