Kes
A friend has kindly offered to treat me to afternoon tea next week, but I'll have to take my 7 month old with me. Any suggestions for somewhere suitable? Needs to be central as she's coming in from out of town and not too expensive as she's payingThank you collective family room wisdom! Pickle
In and around East Dulwich? If so, the most child friendly cafes I go to are The Dish & The Spoon (Cheltenham Rd, Nunhead, near Harris Girls school), and the Duck Egg cafe on Northcross Rd.P x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/33470-baby-friendly-afternoon-tea/#findComment-655899 Share on other sites
Kes
sorry, I meant somewhere in central London (as it'll be easier for her to get to than ED) and that does the whole sandwiches scones and cakes thing. Pickle
Aah, I thought that might be the case. I haven't been for a central London afternoon tea for years, so no ideas from me. Hope you have a great time, wherever you go (lucky!) Gooders79
Had a lovely afternoon tea at the cafe in st James park a while ago, pre children but I think they are v child friendly. We took some friends for lunch at the Dorchester with their 18 mo and 3yo a couple of years ago and they were great with them. KingsburyED
We took our then 4 year old twins with us to Browns hotel where they were very child friendly including making some extra ham sandwiches with no butter for my fussy eaters! Sure there was at least one party with a baby there too. Delicious cream teas too! Salivating now just thinking of it!
