Hello!!

I needed a pair of floor-length curtains for a bay window. I got a few quotes and even considered doing them myself / having a friend do them for me. But in the end I asked Elly Allen to make them for me - and I'm so glad I did!!

I am absolutely delighted with my curtains! The whole experience was great and totally stress-free. I highly recommend Elly - a lovely person and a brilliant curtain maker!! Thank you Elly!

Thanks Beth for your recommendation.

To all those thinking of getting curtains, blinds and soft furnishings done; give me a call for a quote.

Now is the time to get ready for draught proofing as well ! Thermal lined curtains to go over the door - with tracks or portiere rods.

Thanks

Elly

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
