haruki
I was on the 176 the other day and the heaters were on too. Some well-meaning guy went down to tell the driver, and although I couldn't hear everything he said it went along the lines of I used to drive one of these, why are the heaters on? ... Driver mutters ... What on earth are you doing?! .... Driver mutters .... That's the windscreen wiper! .... Driver mutters ... I give up!Heating stayed on Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/34266-so-the-weather/#findComment-661773 Share on other sites
fl0wer
Can I suggest a letter here: https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/contact/default.asp?type=busesThere is someone whose job it is to ensure drivers understand all the controls in the cab - plus, overheating risks travellers getting seriously ill. DulwichFox
When cars and buses overheat in traffic.. with no air blowing through the radiators drivers have no choice but to turn on the heater fans to disperse the heat. Some vehicles do this automatically.. Otherwise the engine would seize up..
