Party venue recommendations

Hello, I am looking for party venue ideas for a 50th birthday party. Location wise, I would like to be somewhere in East Dulwich or Peckham where you can hire the whole venue and bring your own DJ. Thank you for any help!

I remember there was a lovely room with separate entrance upstairs at EDT..I went to a film night there ages ago.

Did a 50th at EDT in Jan, great venue and lovely staff. Sound system was fine too.

Possibility ? Function room private hire - The Lordship Pub

The Lordship is a good call. The Greyhound in Peckham also has a basement space for hire I believe

The Ivy House, lovely as it is,  doesn't book rooms for parties any more, to the best of my knowledge, except in exceptional circumstances.

Though you could ask, in case things have changed again.

The Castle has a nice function room upstairs, but I have no idea if they book it out  for private parties.

Peckham Liberal Club on Elm Grove I always recommend to people, a couple of friends are getting married there next year. There is a big hall in the back, the whole place is floor to ceiling wood panelling and it feels a bit like a David Lynch film throughout, the people also speak in tongues. Its a marvellous place, but also pretty rough round the edges so depends what you are looking for.

The Golden Anchor in Nunhead - I think it's free to rent just has a minimum spend, big room with a bar & can decorate, bring own DJ. They were great!
