I genuinely don't think he has ever really had the heart for it. As soon as he can't buy whatever he wants, or things don't go to plan, he throws a paddy and bottles it. I really believe that.

I think only Shaw has a good reason to be peed off. Miky and Lingard were both appalling in the derby and rightly subbed at half time. Mata's substitution in the Charity Shield was a time wasting exercise which people read too much in to...some said at the time he would be sold by the transfer deadline. Herrera has a point if indeed he is peed off..played well in opening game when Pogba was suspended, then came on and did well in the derby. Basti is a similar situation to Hart's at City, clearly not fancied by Mourinho but he won't leave for another club in Europe.

I didn't like Mourinho publicly berating Shaw after the Watford defeat. I much prefer Fergie's 'siege mentality' and everything stays in-house. I think you can make similar 'clickbait' cases for most managers 'upsetting' players, goes with the territory of the modern squad game...

I think the Miky thing was because they bought him on the back of a magnificent season playing number 10 for BVB, i assume made promises about him playing the same position at Old Trafford and then playing him out of position to accommodate Rooney. Wasn't he dropped completely from the next match day squad too? Co-incidence perhaps.

From memory he was on the bench for the CS and opening game at Bournemouth, then picked up an injury playing for Armenia during the international break, played his first game in the derby where he was subbed at half time and later found to have aggravated the same injury, and he he's been out injured since.

I read that Miky played on the right side of midfield at BD last season, but if he wants to play at No. 10 I'd give him a go as clearly Rooney isn't cutting it there at the moment. I'm expecting Rooney to be dropped for the Leicester game, about time too...

I really don't understand "your team is shite.." posts. What's the point?

Careful what you wish for. ;-)

Shite yes but it's early and the triple bogey of injuries stadium and newcomers will work itself out. Still not worried- though will always loathe the stadium - it is crap for football.

Zaza though... and Masuaku...? strange bit of business or are they geniuses in (bloody good) disguise(s)?

Our experience is they don’t seem to care. That’s the frustrating thing for us, if someone politely raises a concern at least take a second to reflect. Treat others how you would want to be treated.  I don’t want them to lose their job, far from it. But considering it could cost me a days work to fix any damage, I’m within my right to try prevent it.

    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
