Just confirms to me how clueless and out of touch the FA are, I really can't think of a worse run organisation.

Absolutely not fit for purpose.

Nonsense. UEFA would intervene with Michel Platini insisting on a play-off - all FIFA countries against all UEFA countries with a CONCACAF super-final adjudicated by Jack Warner.

Oh Danny Boy...what were you thinking? Next time just hit the fooker!

Happy with the result, keeps us in the tie.

Our away form has surprisingly been very good this season*, so fancy our chances of getting a goal or two over there...

*Interesting take on this by David James... http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/mar/29/david-moyes-everton-ways-manchester-united

If recent history is anything to go by it will hardly damage Barca.

The vast majority of their goals, assist and success in recent seasons have come from home grown players. The bizarre thing, for me at least is the fact that this ban prevents them from selling players too- or put another way, prevents players from leaving and effectively prevents players from negotiating better contracts. In a way this might stengthen Barca.

    • Marveling at the chutzpah of Brexit supporters wanging on about a 4.99% increase in council tax which equates to circa £94/year for the average Band D, whereas it's conservatively estimated* that Brexit has cost each UK household circa £1k/year.  At least with council tax there are actual tangible benefits e.g. weekly waste clearance.  *Based on BoE report 2023...
    • so to summarise, "Party X is stating that Council Y is financially inefficient and saving can be realised or efficiencies made, but when the exercise has been completed, it was found that no savings were achievable". I don't know if you are trying to say that has happened or that if it does happen, that is what would happen.
    • I would respectfully and strongly disagree.  they are targeting Southwark in exactly the same way they target other councils and will have exactly the same outcome  you would have to say why Southwark is the outlier here and not reform for it to be a meaningful differentiation
