BFS never wanted him - not saying that contributed to him becoming a little swine but it probably didn't help.

Don't know what the answer is. If he's guilty then I suspect a suspended sentence, big fine and lots of community service (hopefully with relevance to the crime and the need for people in his privileged position to set an example to young men) and coupled with some anger-management &/or alcohol abuse treatment.

The question is, what can you do with lary little gits who think they can do whatever they like and, thanks to the money thrown at them and the fawning of clubs and agents etc., usually can?

If we had a good man-manager I'd say keep him and he could turn it around and become something good.

We don't.

We have a big, stubborn, ignorant, narrow-minded, dinosaur, arsehole of a manager.

So he's probably better off gone.

Didn't say he was too blame - just that he is not the kind of man capable of mentoring or otherwise turning the player around. If SAF thought Morrison was worth it or needed him and was in a position where he had to make the best of what he had I think he WOULD have persevered with him - also what Otta said.

All the more reason to try and turn a sows ear into a silk purse, Just that BFS's idea of developing Morrison into a man and a player would be to tell him to "Bloody smarten yer ideas up lad, or else! Now let's see if yer can hoof this ball up to the big lad in the middle there."

Fergie thought very highly of Morrison, the best youngster he'd ever worked with, high praise indeed considering the likes of Scholes, Giggs etc. Fergie didn't let him go because he knew he would eventually be retiring. Morrison had major disciplinary issues both inside and outside the club, charged for assault, witness intimidation etc. He was in with a bad lot, and the club thought he would stand a better chance of making a go of his life in football by getting him out of Manchester and away from his gangsta cronies. One weekend back in Manchester and he's in trouble again. When someone has severe behavioural issues like Morrison, clubs and managers can only do so much. Where are his parents/family in all this? One day he might wake up and realise what a fcukwit he's been, but somehow I doubt it...
I think he could play quite a bit. They have only one real recognised holding midfielder at the club; Fernandinho, and if he gets injured Lampard can fit in. They have plenty of games coming up in all competitions so the squad will need a bit of rotation. The big plus for them is that Frank is a proven winner and has bags of experience to pass on to the younger players.

    • Yes,I presumed so , but having been unable to find one ,I thought I'd ask on here.
    • Sorry to hear that, New Wave. I hope you find something soon. I genuinely had this situation in Superdrug on the south coast yesterday. I was buying their own version of E45 cream (it's about a third of the cost) and they asked if I had my Superdrug card with me. I didn't. Who does?  But they were able to apply the appropriate discount to my purchase due to them having my mobile phone number and email on record.  You can fill in any old bollocks for the loyalty card. I found it quite funny when they asked me to confirm that I was Dr. Dave Dave, of Dave Road, Dave, London, SE15 5DV. I'm actually not a real doctor!
    • With gym memberships, it depends how often you go and how much you get out of it. If you go 3 times a week or lose 10kg in a year, that's a bargain. If you never go, it's incredibly expensive. There are people who will happily spend £50 2-3 times a week at the pub or on takeaway food or coffees over the course of a week or leasing a car. Whether it's worth it is up to you. 🤷‍♂️
    • Also, if you keep receipts but don't have a card, they will give you the discounts you would have had. Probably a good idea to take the receipts in at a quiet time, though 🤣
