Ian Holloway has been sacked by Millwall. Yaaaayyyy

Neil Harris will be in charge until the end of the season...

Don't think he will be able to prevent relegation but will hopefully restore the old Millwall spirit..

Probably only Aquarius Moon will be interested. She supports Millwall. :)

Lets put it this way, if this bloke is so easily offended I take it if he was ever been standing in the crowd at Celtic while sectarian chanting was in full flow he would have done the decent thing and told those responsible around him to desist, or reported them to the stewards. Or alternatively when Phil Neville made the infamous remarks about 2 footing Rosicky he would have felt sufficiently moved to contact the BBC to complain? Does he raise the same complaint when confronted by all so called hateful, spiteful, nasty etc behaviour in the same way, no matter where he finds it? He and I have history, that has more to do with this than my remarks.

You don't think it's right that you should moderate your behaviour depending on where you are?

No... I think you are confusing them with Chelsea.. Blue & White.. easily done.

There is very little of that shit at Millwall these days.

No club has done more to stamp out racism than Millwall.

It is NOT tolerated.

I'd like to know if Mick is as easily offended no matter where he goes and applies his moral outrage wherever he goes.

Finally gone. It's been depressing going along recently. No one sings anymore. Nothing to sing about.

I did not realise you were still a member. I hope you don't stop supporting them altogether. :(

I'm not sure. I left it to the last day of the season last year when we stayed up...

I have a good seat and know everyone around me and it's a good crack.

He labelled me racist and sectarian for daring to criticise the support of the team he loves.

So what you're essentially saying is that you're a fair weather fan then? ;-)

I'm very glad to hear that. The old Den was always a very intimidating place to go back in the day, especially if your skin wasn't white.

And Chelsea, though I wouldn't want to tarnish all of their fans with the same brush, are an absolute disgrace.

These days yes!

I used to have season tickets & never miss a home match.

Now I rarely go & have to admit that I'm losing interest rapidly.

Sorry but I think that's bollocks Mick. For years you've goaded SCSB79 at every opportunity (not saying it's been one way traffic). If you've grown to dislike him for other reasons since then, the roots are football loyalty and if it wasn't for your suppiort of Celtic / Rangers then you probably never would have grown to dislike each other.

Its no coincidence that SCSB is attracted to Rangers (edited to add that this is a bit unfair on Rangers) but its not his being a Rangers fan that I don't like about him.

You can contrast my relationship with him as against PGC for example who I positively like.

I think you are putting two and two together to get five Otta, but I understand the logic.

However - I don't think you will find a post where I have reacted badly to Celtic losing to Rangers by flinging insults at anyone or swearing, which was my original point. Normally PGC and I have a whiskey wager on it.

The original point was that we should take both defeat and victory better as football fans.

I am genuinely saddened to hear that AqM :(

Celtic tonight issued an unambiguous statement in support of Virgil Van Dijk, but one which slammed the SFA Discipline Committee for its inexplicable decision not to cite Calum Butcher for the offence in which the Dutch defender was sent off, and Paul Paton was dismissed in a case of mistaken identity.

The Celtic statement read ?It seems completely illogical and fundamentally unfair that, in an incident where mistaken identity has been claimed, the Dundee United player now identified clearly as being involved in the incident appears to have no case to answer - and would be available to play in the League Cup final and the Scottish Cup replay between the two teams - while Celtic?s player may potentially miss both of those matches.

I don't disagree with that at all.

And with regards SCSB, I just remember you rubbing it in when Rangers fell on hard times, and if I was passionate Rangers I think you'd have made my blood boil a bit. Even though you probably only meant it as a wind up.

Anyway, I agree with your general point, football fans react very oddly to football. Just look at Villa West Brom the other night.

I gave you the opportunity to retract the statement at the time via PM and you ignored me. I asked for you to point out how i had been racist and sectarian and got no reply.

Typical.

I also suspect you don't have a beef with PGC as he doesn't seem to challenge the crap you often spout in regards to Celtic so you possibly see him as a soft touch.

    • Where did I say he did a good job? Yup and Corbyn was very close to Len McCluskey and funded by Unite wasn't he...they're all as bad as each other... Labour have to purge their party of the far-left - they're a disaster. Allan Johnson summed it up so well on election night in 2019....
    • Thank you for the detailed advise @trinidad It is definitely damage we are concerned about. I don’t think Evri would agree to pay the bill to fix our gate or letter box if they were to be damaged as a result of their delivery drivers helper. Our doorbell can be heard from outside when rung so we don’t quite believe the aggressive simultaneous door/letter box banging is necessary. It can be quite a shock it is done very aggressively.  I’ll definitely action the steps you’ve kindly provided along with a phone call tomorrow. I do sympathise with the role drivers have and how busy they are, which is why we tried communicating directly with her but sadly we haven’t succeeded
    • What outcome would you like? Disciplinary action? Not to have the driver back? Retraining? I know there is alot of pressure on drivers to deliver within a set day. if he slams the gate, is it evidence he is causing damage, or is the noise a irritant to yourself? You could put a sign up or buy a signing asking to close the gate gentle???? can you hear the door bell from the door? he might be ringing, not hearing and therefore knocking. In trhe notes section of the be livery page, there is a note section, although there is not 100 per cent these notes would be read as these drivers are constantly rushing.  I did a google search for you, i found this and you can try the envri website Contact Us | Evri   To complain to Evri, you can follow these steps: Contact Customer Service: Call Evri's customer service at 0330 808 5456 for assistance with your complaint.    1 Write a Letter: Address your complaint to Capitol House, 1 Capitol Close, Morley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS27 0WH.    1 Use the Official Website: Visit the Evri complaints page on their official website for detailed instructions on how to submit a complaint.    2 Email or Call for Specific Issues: For issues like missing or damaged parcels, you can email or call 0800 988 8888, which is free to call.    1 These methods will help you effectively communicate your concerns to Evri.   My driver is called anthony, he is brilliant to be honest. I cant fault him.
    • When I have more time and energy, I will look up the actual number of votes cast for each party in that election, rather than the number of seats won. I'm interested to see that you apparently  think that  Boris Johnson did a good job of "leading the country through Covid." Is your memory really that short? I won't stoop to calling Johnson and his cronies names in the way that you seem to think is appropriate for left wing politicians. At least the left wing politicians have some semblance of morals and a concern for people who aren't in some over privileged inner circle and/or raking in money for themselves on the back of an epidemic. I'm not going to open a can of worms on here  by commenting on the disgraceful so called "purge".
