I wish I had your optimism!

Unless you support LFC, in which case you probablky gave up on it weeks ago.

I do wish the press would refrain from telling us that a club has approached a club about a player. Gets our hopes up that we might get a player that can score a goal, and then the hopes are dashed. Meanwhile other clubs that didn't have said player on their radar go "oh look, Liverpool have spotted a good'n, let's sign him in the summer".

Leicester have Arsenal and City next. Don't think those matches will necessarily decide the title, but if Leicester can take 4 points from them, they'll be on the charge with real belief.

I totally want Leicester to win the league, and if not them, then City to win it for their outgoing manager (thought it was nice to hear his players saying they love playing for him and want to win some trophies for him this season).

I read that yesterday. I love that Liverpool have the question "Why are Liverpool so bad?" as one of theirs.

Was a trip down memory lane. I'd forgotten some of those players altogether. Just highlights how many rubbish signings Liverpool made again and again, whilst Man United were signing star after star for less money than LFC were paying for total shite.

Stars like Bebe and Djemba Djemba, the man so bad they named him twice. ;-)

Yes, but you haven't scored for 3 games or won in five, against lesser teams than Leicester.

You might be defensively pretty sound, but will you be happy with a 0-0 at home?

Barring an injury to Mahrez, Leicester will win it now I think. They have a potentially tough last three games (United away, Everton home and Chelsea away) but we've been talking about their 'tough' games where they'll slip up all season. And they keep brushing them aside.

Anyway, let's talk about Dele Alli. 5 goals and 5 assists in his last 11 league games. Nailed on for Goal of the Season and Young Player of the Year. And now, according to a respected Swiss football research centre (used by FIFA, UEFA and top European clubs) he's the most valuable teenager in European football, by a distance. Link below.

All this for a 19 year old that was playing third tier last season.

Indeed. Spurs will get good money for him when he leaves this summer.

Thankfully, I know you're just winding Titch up, Otta. Last season it was Harry Kane. Hopefully, both and the majority of the current Spurs squad will be around to grow and enjoy success together for a long time to come.

I've developed a bit of a man crush on Dele Alli. He really is something else. Probably my favourite Spurs player since Teddy Sherringham.

Bournemouth 0 - Arsenal 2, we've put that right

No I won't but I think we'll beat them at our place.

They are favourites , it's theirs to lose

My view is that its never easy to get over the line when you haven't won it before or even for a while - as Newcastle under Keegan showed, and Man United under Ferguson and Arsenal under George Graham. Even big leads can disappear, confidence goes, nerves kick in (Newcastle could hardly string a pass together in the matches after the 4-3 defeat to Liverpool). I thought Arsenal had blown it in 1989. Experience counts for a lot in the run in and "giving" anyone the title before April is silly.

    • Poor dog….how bloody stupid of owners who clearly have zero recall of their dog. Not good recall, don’t  let your dog off  the lead or have it on a long line. Why did you not hop over fence and get into water to try and rescue dog? Dies in cold water. Totally disgusted but then not surprised by people … No different from people walking their dogs on cliff paths when know might fall off…an  advised to keep on the lead.. do they pay attention….No… what is wrong with people? Don’t they have any common sense? And why wait for fire department? Not exactly strong currents like sea… RIP woofer… no sympathy for owners whatsoever…

    • Andy came recommended by another Tradesman who also did a job for us.  And I am so happy for the recommendation.    Andy is very knowledgeable and professional in his approach to work. The cost of the job was very reasonable. He’s installed temporary ceiling coverage following a leak until the ceiling can be repaired.   Highly recommend Andy and will be using again in very near future! 👍   Thanks Andy!  Andy 07564 194 363.
    • Another recommendation for Greg. Echoing pretty much everything everyone else has said. Friendly communication, good work, and clear pricing. Will be sure to use him again for any future plumbing needs! Thanks Greg!
