When he had his first spell at Chelsea I loved his interviews, he was funny. These days I think he's lost all his charm and just comes over as a moaner. There's a picture doing the rounds of him at a press conference after the 0-0 with Arsenal saying that a team that can't score at home are boring.

Yep.

Double yep.

And agree with Jah about ManC - if we end up going there on the last day of the season needing a point a fleet of charabancs won't be enough. Last night exposed Chelsea's limitations - they weren't baffled by BFS's genius, they just lacked the ability to overcome a group of players desperate for points and sick of being spanked.

From the Mourinho back catalogue of hypocrasy

A 1-0 second-leg defeat could not prevent dogged Inter, leading 3-1 from the San Siro, heading to the May 22 final against Bayern Munich.

Mourinho even received congratulatory texts from his old Chelsea friends.

Reacting to criticism of Inter?s defensive approach, Mourinho said: "It is a style of blood not skill. When the moment of leaving everything on the pitch arrives, you don't leave the skill you leave the blood.

"We were a team of heroes. We sweated blood. It's a pity I could not play because I have got the same blood. I have already won a Champions League but today was even better.

"We made huge sacrifices. It is always difficult to play against them with 10 (after Thiago Motta was dismissed). Barca are the best in the world with the ball. I am happy not because Barca lost but because Inter won.

You're either just shit stirring or you still don't get it.

I'll just say a good victory for the club... and for Allardiccio's strongdefence/long ball/bombs into the box muscular '?lan'.

Carroll out for three now though.

ETA: Though I did get the score right on the EDF Predictor League :)

I know - red rag and all that

Don't WANT to be relegated but would happily suffer it IF it got rid of SA. Unfortunately it might not even manage that as the porn brothers would probably think he was the best option for the Championship.

- and it looks like the style of footy that Allardiccio always said he wasn't "just all about" is at Upton Park to stay (as long as he is) and may be good enough to see off enough teams like Swansea (at home) to avoid the drop.

Like EP said - something about cogwheels and diffidence.

AM, come on, don,t be so logical. Football should be a game of passion, when we lose I hate it and I think the reason we are where we are falls squarely on BFS' shoulders. Do I want us to go down really? No, of course not. A small consolation if we did is that he,d (hopefully) go and I really hope ( against expectation) that he'd go if we stay up. You want logic...follow chess or something.

    • Vans are restricted to one hour a day 8:30 to 9:30 and have to be pre-booked.  So long as you went with and were able to show the right ID then I doubt it would be an issue unless the builders van is emblazoned with their branding as businesses aren't allowed to use it.
    • Perhaps they would run into the issue that Lambeth had if they put it on the  Rye - maybe they would need planning permission for change of use if more than 28 days of permitted development are used up for all the other events plus this. So perhaps emphasising that the two areas are distinct from each other actually helps the council.
    • I think the council could make more of that too. Sell a ticketed event with a local celebrity turning the lights on, followed by a street party with christmas carols and a christmas pop song cover band.
    • When we had lots of rubble to dispose of, we hired a zip an and took it. Didn't have to pay, but they don't allow vans in Sundays from memory
