lionandmouse
Does anyone know what happened off Peckham Rye high street today at 5/530? I must have counted ten police cars and the road was closed briefly. Nigello
Probably a dropped crisp packet/threatening-looking pigeon/criminally inclined hairball or other major threat. lionandmouse
I am new to the area so don't really know what it's proper name; Rye Lane? It is the road where Peckham Rye station is. chellbirdse15
I had a NHW meeting tonight with one of the officers on duty this afternoon, apparently there were three people involved in a road rage incident, they all got out were giving it large to each other and then one of them smashed a glass bottle over one of the guys head, then it all got out of hand and two were unconscious, with the last guy standing calling the police.... it turns out that they have all been sent to hospital and all have been arrested for causing a fray! Lets hope the other two guys come round and all is okay with them..... sometimes it helps to have inside knowledge !!! lol !!! Im just a nosy NHW person really!!!! palacehero
Whilst this is not a matter for humour but the previous poster who said someone smashed a bottle over someone's head THEN it got out of hand made me giggle Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36084-peckham-rye-high-street-a-gazillion-police/#findComment-676532 Share on other sites
