dulwichmum
Cricket players are a blast. I met a whole team of them once about ten years ago in Jamaica. They were smoking joints as thick as rolling pins, and when we were back in the UK I saw one of them on TV sounding outraged that someone dared to suggest that the players had a fast existence on tour! clare
I once has the pleasure of crossing paths with a Barry Hearne Snooker tour of Australia . Dennis Taylor, Stephen Hendry, John Virgo...etc etc (yes it was several years ago!). A very funny sociable bunch ! Keef
Aha, Mr Piers is the proud owner of a wii, and it is indeed fun, although I actually woke up with rose shoulders after am evening of bowling and baseball! ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/362-cricket-world-cup/#findComment-7349 Share on other sites
dulwichmum
Dear Mr Keef,In our house though, it is not a Wii, it is much more of a 'they', because myself and Freya are not able to get near it! mockney piers
You should, many games are 4 player. Even mairead loves wiiing, so to speak. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/362-cricket-world-cup/#findComment-7354 Share on other sites
dulwichmum
Dear Mr Mockney Piers,James and Max were laughing like drains earlier on. Apparently Max was "making his own Wii" (I should hope so too!). Apparently it is the expression to use when one constructs one's own avatar thingy. The company who made that console should be ashamed of themselves, using such crude terminology. Poor Mairead. Does she have any idea what you have printed in this public forum about her?Freya and I prefer the trampoline to playing with those silly rude boys. dulwichmum
Dear Mr Mockney Piers,I think I know what you mean. I shall try to convince them to let me have a turn, and when I get one - I shall post it to you. What fun!
