LL closed - junction Plough & library

Not sure what is going on but the road is closed and traffic diverted.

Emergency services on scene and it looks like tape up outside Plough Homecare.

Best avoid the area if possible.

I rode past after the accident and I guess before they closed the road. Could see a woman lying in the road being attended to by paramedics. I really hope she is OK :(

Do hope she's ok. Do you know if this was at traffic lights or further along the road? Little one is just starting to use these lights to cross by herself. Gulp. So would be helpful to know exactly where it was.

If I recall correctly it wasn't at the lights, but was a little way further down the hill, maybe by the bus stop?

My sister saw it. A man with a ponytail walked out of Sainsbury's and got hit by a car. Head hit and smashed the windscreen and he was quite bad apparantly. This is what my sister said she saw so it sounded quite serious and hope that he is ok.

Oh, I guess it could have been a man with long hair, apologies for confusion, went past too quick. Hope it wasn't as serious as it looked for the guy :(

It should be a 20 mph limit along there. The frequency and severity of these accidents would be reduced. Hope the man is ok.

I understand Southwark want to make all of their managed roads a 20mph zone. This would include LL from Goose Green to Melford Road. The rest of LL is managed by Transport for London.
