tomskip
Its a monumental pita but we are going to have to switch from Virgin because I just can't put up with all the problems for a moment longer. Can anyone advise on a really good provider in this area? We both work from home so really need it to be reliable. Many thanks. Sue
Plusnet have been great for me.Reasonably priced, good reliable service, excellent customer service. They are owned by BT but run separately I think. There are previous threads on the forum about local broadband, if you do a search. My latest personal experience is of BT infinty which has been shocking for months. It's pot luck whether you have problems with your line or not, you really can't predict (especially as most of the lines rely on BT anyway) but it's worth looking at reviews on the customer service you receive - there are regular surveys on http://www.thinkbroadband.com. This is where you can assess your chances of them reacting to your problem quickly and efficiently best.
