East2
I'm a full time mum and pregnant with my 2nd. I was hoping to put my DS in a nursery for a couple of mornings a week but can seem to find any nurseries in ED that will do 1/2 days. Does anyone know any nurseries which do them, happy to travel slightly further if need be.thanksx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36790-12-days-at-nurseries/ Share on other sites
EmilyPie
Busy as bees near honor oak does half days. We're just about to start our 2yo there and it has spaces and seems very nice. Mrtibbs
Have you tried the one in goose green church hall? They only take 2plus, but had shorter days, finishing at 3 I think? Belle
Oak Tree nursery on Tell Grove does half days (does also have a day care function now but offers half days too) - I sent my son there from 2-3.5 and we were very happy. BUDS is the nursery mentioned above in Goose Green community Centre, worth doing a search but have read some nice things on here. And there's the new Montessori on Barry Road which again is technically day care but offers half days so worth contacting (Little Fingers - worth doing another search). They weren't full recently so worth a try. If only doing half days it's definitely a good plan to get somewhere fairly easy to get to - you'd be suprised how fast those mornings go, esp with a baby at home! canela
BUDS does 9 - 1 for 2-4 year olds. tho I presume you could pick up 12 if you wished. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/36790-12-days-at-nurseries/#findComment-682366 Share on other sites
East2
Thanks everyone, have a couple more to try. My DS is only 18 months, so it does make it a little trickier. irishnkiwifamily
Have you thought of 'My Favoutite Nursery' on Upland Rd, both our daughters went there. We were v happy with the care and stimulation they received. Pre- summer, there was defiantly a 1/2 day option.
