I think mostly those are related to the same "issues". In my experience, it's difficult using the pin when reporting problems, especially if you're on a mobile...

There's two obvious leaks in that stretch and has been for sometime one of them apparently being sewer flooding 😱

Last week we had no water for over 24 hours and very little support from Thames Water when we called - had to fight for water to be delivered, even to priority homes.

Strongly suggest you contact [email protected] as she was arranging a meeting with TW to discuss the abysmal service

The is very low water pressure in the middle of Friern Road this morning.

Yes,I noticed that our water pressure ( Barry Rd ) was unusually low this morning.

Hence looking at Thames Water site.

But .. does anyone know what the blue shaded area , outlined with dotted edge, indicates?

Yes,I presumed so , but having been unable to find one ,I thought I'd ask on here.

presumably there is a legend on the data source

It may be because I need to.virw the map on something other than my phone .

if you click on each of the pins in the interactive map it tells you what's going on for each one

Thank you ,I know that.

My query was about what a blue shaded area ,surrounded by a dotted line and with a crossed out water droplet, meant.

I had assumed that was the area where low or no pressure may be being experienced - that is the local area being fed by whatever main might have to be interrupted, or which was already interrupted or with low pressure.

Say it again, those at the back didn't hear you 🤣

I've looked on the map on a PC, no legend, nothing comes up when you hover over or click on it.

We have had a leak on our road for 5 days, reported at least 10 times according to the map but it's still pouring down the road!

If you have a leak, and are not able to use the interactive map then you can register for text message updates or you can call the free number for updates

the blue shaded area depends on which postcode you enter when you search

Well actually it doesn't.

I've just entered various post codes, some in SE15 and the same blue shaded area as shown in my first post still appears.

Although it is true that additional blue shaded areas can be viewed.

I think Penguin is probably correct in that it indicates an area of low pressure.

Might have saved us all time had I just PM'd penguin straight away.

They generally have a good insight into most things .
