Curry recommendation on Lordship Lane

Can someone please recommend a curry restaurant on Lordship Lane. I am taking a friend out and she particularly wants a curry. There are quite a few on the Lane and I was not sure what the best one is. I know Barbur in Honor Oak has good reviews but we really wanted to walk so Lordship Lane would be ideal. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Yet another vote for Dulwich Tandoori.

Avoid Tandoori Nights at all costs (if you don't avoid it, it will cost you - in many ways).

Why not do a forum search. You will come up with about a zillion threads, as hinted above.

Though searching on "curry" probably won't. Try putting "Indian restaurants" into the search box.

ETA: Though come to think of it, the quality of food etc in the restaurants seems to change so quickly, possibly due to changes of management and/or chef, that information given in old threads is probably well out of date by now. I would have recommended Tandoori Nights at one time :(

Sorry to be gloomy, but whilst this sounds a great idea in theory, in common with many people I know I've had several  bad experiences with supposedly professional tradespeople, let alone someone who wasn't doing it for a living.
