Locksmith to fix stuck lock on old cabinet

Hi - I have just inherited an old cabinet and the key isn't working. I am looking for a locksmith who will be able to sort this out. Any recommendations?

Have you tried Callows?

Try Alan 07722 305757 of "All Locked Out".

He put a new lock on my front door - turned up promptly at short notice with spare keys and did the job super quick.

Was efficient and friendly I'd definitely use him again..

I used Callows to repair a failed Edwardian lock. They did a great job and it was really cheap. Think it came in at around a fiver, although I did take the lock out of the door and in to the shop, so no call out charge involved.

Depending on why the key isn't working, you can get graphite (the DIY shop near Goose Green sells it) to lubricate a lock where the key is sticking and won't open it.

I don't think you're supposed to use WD40, but I might be wrong about that.

But obviously it would depend on what the problem was.

thanks all - we've tried graphite etc, no luck, but will try Callows.
