:)):)).....and I bet that as I'm a "Newbie" few will reply to MY thread.....Tony slinks away head bowed into the far horizon...(6)

p.s.I see what you mean..just one minute apart and that is probably the time difference between the 'burbs and East Dulwich:)

I've decided to reply to neither thread lest I appear to be favouring one over the other

oh wait... darn!

To answer the question, of the two of us I spend most of the time cooking. I also try and do the "tidy as I go" thing to avoid the worst excesses of cookageddon.

Well this thread is asking the question, ?Are you a gastro sexual?? whereas the other one seems to be exploring the nature of gastrosexuality. Although in any event it has already started to degenerate into 3rd rate jokes about sitting on egg whisks or having unfortunate accidents involving food processors.

I wouldn't call myself gastrosexual, though I am partial to a bit of cookwank (does that make me gastronanistic?), but to answer the question...finally...I do do about 95% of the cooking, but that's mainly because Mrs Mockers was a disaster in the kitchen.

She is growing in confidence though and now has a few dishes under her belt, including a rather mean jungle curry, sauce made from scratch and everything.

Do the lion's share in our kitchen. I wont brag though. Bland, monotonous oh-so-predictable stuff from me and that is the extent of my culinary aspiration. Making out in the kitchen, on the other hand, is nice from time to time, if that's what you're talking about.

cookageddon, I like it. Sounds exactly like what I used to face every evening after the ex cooked dinner. Would rather live on microwave meals than deal with that mess on a daily basis again!

    • Maybe its a discussion point to get countries to accept their people back, without having to act it out, however if the bluff is called then it might be enacted. Hence the "could" and not the "will " at this stage  Politics is a funny game.

Getting it done now would  undermine Reform's position and give Labour a "win" - even though the Tories had signalled they were going to do this before they got turfed out.

He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
