dulwichmum
Darling Mr Batdog,I don't know, I am rather partial to a Riedel Sommeliers Chablis glass myself.http://www.riedel-store.co.uk/acatalog/Somm_White_Wine.htmlI sound very brave don't I? James will not let me touch his glasses unless he is drinking too - I am a butter fingers who is trusted only with an Ikea tumbler!DM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/381-question-to-dm/page/3/#findComment-9755 Share on other sites
batdog
Dear D-Mum,I agree that a Riedel glass is of a superior quality but nothing can beat a swarovski pure crystal http://shop.swarovski.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/en_GB/-/GBP/SW_DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=NtmppKzU0tHqKurP7hxzlMXego863ug287E=?Banner_ID=04000781%2e352&DeepProductSKU=626624 of course you'll have to invest over a ?100 for each glass BUT it is worth, otherwise better than a Riedel a hand made Murano glass from the Italian masters http://www.e-muranoshop.com/cat264.phpWine tastes even better (tu) and for a lady of your "status" it is such a small but compulsory investment... dulwichmum
Darling Batdog,You know if it were not for the fact that Gordon Ramsays own sommeliers have insisted to me that wine can only be appreciated fully when consumed from a Riedel, then I would concede. On the other hand, you know there is so much pretention attached to food, I think I would enjoy Champagne with you if I was drinking it from a plastic beaker...DM Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/381-question-to-dm/page/3/#findComment-9770 Share on other sites
