Our lovely dog Jessie, a black and white border collie has run off. Last seen by the builders running south on grove lane towards sainsbury's. Lunchtime on Monday 28th July.

Any sightings or other info would be great.

Thanks!

Denise

Latest update is a possible spotting on train track at East Dulwich station 11.15 yesterday. She was heading to North Dulwich. She will be scared and lost. Obviously there is a possibility she has been hit. Anyone using that line could keep eyes open would be great. Thanks.

Hi Everybody,

thank you all for your concern for Jessie. Thanks to a sighting we were able to track Jess to the shrubland around East Dulwich station. She was lost and trapped and in a bit of a panic but she is now safely home and seems in fine health. Thank you all again. I wouldn't have found her without the tip off.

As an Animal Lover please update us Denise..

Good Luck...

You might want to put up posters in your street, at bus stops, in shops and through people's letter boxes. You can also report her missing at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, with the National Pet Register (http://www.nationalpetregister.org/) and the RSPCA. Local vets can also be worth a try.

Thats from a similar thread on here from Monkey i.r.o a missing cat.

BRILLIANT NEWS!!:)-D>:D<.....

Now I'm going to say what I REALLY thought!...I have 4 West Highland Terriers and I make sure every time I go to the garden the side door is shut and every time I go to the front door I close the doors behind me-military stylee:)..its automatic as is looking for any gaps like under or behind theshed, for example...if I take them to the car I carry them "one at a time"...same on my return. Please be vigilant as Jessie is preciious,as you know!

Hi Jan,

I had never heard of this east dulwich thingy but it seems everybody uses it. Saved us a lot of heartache that's for sure. We are off to suffolk tomorrow and the thought of going without jessie was just too depressing. Ah, well. It's all fine now.

See you next term,

Dx

    • £30-40 for M&S Christmas food for two seems very low! And only £60 for food and drink for 8-10 people?  We have had M&S food at Christmas in the past, and it came to a lot more than that. I suppose it depends exactly what you are buying. We left it late to book a Christmas Day meal out last year, so there weren't many options left.  The Cherry Tree menu looked very nice. That was our first mistake. We also overlooked the fact that it was a Young's pub, with all that implies about the food. That was our second mistake. We don't have shedloads of money. We  took the view that we deserved a nice meal  out after working bloody hard all year. So it was doubly disappointing to basically waste a lot of money which could have been very much better  spent elsewhere.
    • No sweetheart. It is a fantastic sermon which should be shared. It is a rights-based sermon which received a standing ovation - if you can be bothered to get to the end.
    • Welcome back. What have voting intentions got to do with this thread? And much as you may hate the present incarnation of so-called Labour, as do I,  I don't think it is true that they have "not done a single positive thing for working class people", is it? And how exactly are you defining "working class people", anyway?
    • I can’t bear the media “is this racist comment racist” angle taken to reporting it. I feel like she’s a useful out rider for Farage to test how far they can take their rhetoric - it’s not the first time she’s said things that cross over the line. Overt racism is becoming far more commonplace and it’s deeply concerning.
