On the way I saw loads of cyclists riding without lights, some on the phones, or listening to music. Hope they made it to the protest safely....

I was there. More than 1000 people on bikes. Road Peace was there too. Everyone was more sparkly than a Christmas Tree.

No - But people on bikes don't just throw themselves under lorries either. They are being killed by negligent road design and bad driving (and, yes, possibly sometimes bad cycling).

Although, I think the addition of "of cyclists" isn't really helpful. The protest was also about pedestrians and public space more broadly. "Stop The Killing" should be enough.
