I am looking for recommendations for a photographer to capture our 8 week old.

Ideally I would want the photos to be taken in a studio as our home doesn't have anywhere great to snap in...it's all a bit cluttered at the moment after moving house.

I'd like some shots of the little one and some shots of the three of us.

Can anyone recommend anyone in the s-e London area and preferably someone who has a space for such shoots?

Thanks.xx

Hi there, please check out my website for examples of my work at http://www.shutterbaby.co.uk. I also have lots of lovely reviews on the fourm :-) I would normally come to your home, but I can do the same set up at mine instead if that's more convenient. Please give me a call on 07958 734184 or email [email protected] if you would like any more information or would like to make a booking. Thanks.

Hi there

If you are still looking I hope I can help

I'm a family and baby photographer based in East Dulwich - I do lots of portraits locally - if you search for my name on the forum you'll see lots of testimonials.

I tend to shoot at clients' homes - and I'm used to capturing great photos with cluttered backgrounds so don't worry about that. I think you'll get a much nicer result at home with natural light than shooting in a studio with all the lights.

Please check out my website, facebook page and my reviews on google local.

I've done lots of shoots in the last few weeks that aren't up on my website yet, but happy to send you a slideshow if that would help.

Kind regards

Simon

We recently got photos taken of us and our children at home by Stefanie Usuanlele. Our home is really cluttered, as well, but you could never tell it was taken there. She was great with the kids and we got such great photos from the day. My wife and me are very pleased and we can highly recommend her.

By now you probably got photos taken already. But I can also say that Stefanie was lovely.

I don?t think she has a studio, only does home visits, but the photos look so beautfiul.

This is her homepage: http://www.specialmomentsphotographyltd.co.uk/

I saw her offer in this forum and paid ?120 for a 2 hour photo shoot and got over 50 photos on a cd.

I can recommend to you a wonderful photographer who specializes in photo sessions of newborns, children, and families. I tried her myself, and that's why I can now recommend her to you. She is a fantastic woman, who knows how to work with children. The pictures are really amazing, presenting not only the child, but also conveying all the emotions and feelings. Here is her website so you can check for yourself: http://www.studio-milla.com/ I have my family's photo sessions done every year, which constitutes a great keepsake for years.

    • I'd also like to highly recommend Niko. He just replaced the extraction fan in our bathroom, having previously installed a new tap for us. Fast, professional and a really great guy.
    • Agree with this. He's stood down from his role in Cabinet having left the Party, but he was elected as a representative of all the constituents in his ward and logic suggests that he should continue to represent them as a councillor for his remaining 3 months. He might wish to stand again, as a Green, in that ward (if he's chosen) and hope that personal loyalty to him might transfer, but that's now the call of his (new) party and him. He will have to balance that with a view about how many of his Labour supporters will feel sufficiently betrayed to continue to support Labour. I suspect, I may be wrong, that he will not have a cabinet position open to him after May (unless the Greens sweep in locally) so presumably he will have to consider his next career move, and whether that's back to full-time primary teaching.
    • The Po on LL was looking a lot cleaner and tidier this morning
    • God forbid it's Labour (or the Tories for that matter
