BHF are very snooty about what they'll take whereas Emmaus are lovely.

The larger St Christopher's Hospice shop on Lordship Lane by the Palmerston takes furniture, have you tried there?

Also there's a charity shop in Streatham Hill (I think it's an Oxfam shop) which takes furniture.

No idea if either of them would collect, though.

Just a quick note to say that Emmaus, W. Norwood will come & collect, their van does the rounds once a fortnight. All they ask is that donations aren't broken or dirty.

Emmanus will not take it if it pre-dates the fire-retardant foam regulations and/or if it doesn't have the safety labels intact.

Thank you Flower the pop up art group came to collect it. I did try Emmaus, but they were not able to receive anything until after the Xmas hols.
