Anyone else watching "Up" BBC 1?

Never seen this film before but what an emotional early scene. I must be getting old or soft or both, it made me cry and I've never cried at an animated film before.

SJ I finished it and honestly wow. Please tell me this movie was at least nominated for an oscar? A genuinely sweet little movie with all the roller coaster of emotions you'd want and more. Credit to Pixar, I've seen blockbuster love stories which haven't moved me, and this animation has just taken me on a journey I never expected. What a great surprise! Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't seen it! Keep a box of tissues by your side!

The wife made me go and watch Toy Story 3... yeah it was surprisingly moving for a children's animation (and one starring Tom Hanks at that), but actually crying?? Pull yourself together!!

I really don't think I can ever watch the first 10 mins of 'Up' again. The only time I watched it was on a plane and I can't deny I was in absolute tears. Fortunately it was in business class and the seat next to me was vacant so no one noticed.

Toy Story 3 was heartbreaking, I find I cry more at children's things now than I used to. Are they making them sadder? I watched Gangsta Granny last week too and that had me in tears. My children just look at me now and roll their eyes. WE're going to see Frozen later this week, must remember the waterproof mascara and shades.
