Good people of ED (happy new year!)

I am looking for recommendations for a child friendly hol in France.

Needs to be a cottage, ideally on a farm with farmy activities for the kids. Not really fussed where in France as it will be May so average weather everywhere. Will have a 2.8 year old and 6 month old.

Any recommendations please!

Hi there... just wanted to recommend my brother and sister-in-law's gites in Brittany. They have an alpaca farm (as well as chickens, dogs etc) and beautiful gites. We have two year old twins and they have a blast whenever we go to stay. It is very child-friendly - kids can collect the eggs every day, help with animals etc. You can go on lovely walks directly from the gites into the woods and their farm is at the end of a long, country road so no traffic at all other than the tractor (which the kids love). Lots of fun things to do nearby, including an amazing, huge (and usually pretty empty) softplay centre in nearby Pontivy. They can provide cots, highchairs etc with enough notice, as well as a big box of toys. If you google them, they are "Quelvehin Alpagas".

We have a cottage, le petit tresor (www.le-tresor.com), which may be of interest to you? It is next to the chambres d'hotes. The cottage is self catering, but you have the option of having breakfasts and evening meals served to you! If this is not want you are looking for try Montengrand.com.

    • Definitely that’s part of it  but a) loads of historically popular leaders were chrisms vacuums and b) people can now see where voting for “charismatic” people like Johnson and Trump gets them
    • When will something be done about safe access to platforms? The overcrowding on the stairs at rush hour is ridiculous with multi trains arriving simultaneously and an inadequate staircase. Yesterday at around 5.30pm there was only room for people to descend, congestion at the bottom from three available exit barriers and a lady fell down the concrete stairs.

    • Thanks ianr. So no mention of either Tesco  or October? So we are no further forward with knowing when the Tesco will actually open? The place seems to have been empty for ages. I would have thought Tesco might have wanted to be up and running in time for Christmas, but maybe that isn't relevant to a relatively small Tesco Express? ETA: The wonders of the space bar, eh? It took me more  time than it should have done to see the difference between the two addresses in your previous post!
