During the 50's there was a photographer in Marmora road around number 24 or 26, I think his name was Willins or similar, does anyone know if someone took over his business or what happened to his photos as I am sure they would have been saved by someone.

I lived in Marmora rd from 1942 until 1957 and would love to find old photos of the coronation street party, I had one but it was lost in a house move and I would love to replace it.

    • I've noticed the same, thankfully they're too fluttery for my cat to catch. I've noticed the white ones always seem to travel in pairs?
    • Jersey Moths are about and have been for the last fortnight or so.

I think it is also worth saying, in light of the recent Panorama programme, that we, at No-Flies, are completely independent and do not have referral arrangements with solicitors or surveyors. We believe that both buyers and sellers should be free to make their own choices on who they wish to instruct - though we are happy to provide recommendations and will try to warn people off firms with whom we have had previous bad experiences.
