1/4 lb Burger from Burger King Surrey Quays..

Well I have taken a couple of bites...

Stone cold, soggy Bun, nasty cold cheese slice...

Think I may become the official photographer for BK

Tescos.

River Island.

Burtons.

Holland & Barrett

Boots

Occasionally use BHS

They also have an EE Phone shop.

Safe manned area to withdraw cash.

Shame WH Smith has gone.

Also nearby Decathlon Sports and camping supplies.

Decathlon is good, I'll grant you. The cinema is also OK (Europe's first fully digital multi screen cinema, fact fans). But the shopping mall... eurgh.

Agreed, it'll be a shame when Decathlon closed, I've bought loads of stuff in there in recent years. Anyone know if they're looking for another site in London?

I did eat it....

But I do not eat Burgers or Fries often because Have type -2 diabetes.

Blood Sugars 9.0 mmol/L postprandial + 90 mins

So no more food today.

Some alcohol will help lower sugar level. :)

I remember some years back 2002 B.K. at Waterloo Station was a lot better..

Sorry typo, meant to say closes, not closed. The developers behind the shard are building flats on the site. The owners of the shopping centre (Tesco and British Land) are extending at the expense of half the car park.

Surrey Quays is great - ive lived here for years , really near the river , southwark park and the Angel ( lovely pub with views of tower bridge etc)

That whole area of SQ and a lot of Bermondsey just feel sterile to me.

The shopping "mall" is shit, although the Tescos is pretty good.

Best things around there is the farm. Best city farm I've been to.

Sterile? I don't find it that way Otta, I dont really use shopping centre apart from Tesco , got to eat etc etc at least its a hipster and flat cap free zone thank god.

Well yes, that's a plus point.

But all the housing estates around Salter Road just leave me cold. Nothing wrong with them, but as I say, just feels sterile.
