...As a bit of a change to the kitchen thread!

Does anyone have one of these & could they recommend a particular type of sensor?

Also, did they need a whole new light fitting or just the sensor fitting?

Have electrician coming in next few days & he says easy to do but wants an idea of which one we want and that's left me stuck!

We use one of these as a more instant/temporary measure: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003BZSV20/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=diy

It's ideal for our nearly 5 yr old to see in the bathroom to use the toilet and wash hands afterwards. It uses batteries, and can be fixed to a wall or free standing.

You might want something more sophisticated than this, but we've been very impressed with ours and the brand (we plan on looking at their other motion/light sensitive lighting for other areas).

HTH.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
