Ednew
HiWe have got ourselves a used car. The car has a very very strong dog smell.Have tried keeping the windows open and using air fresheners but its not helping. The smell seems to be deeply entrenched in the seats. Doesn't have seat covers. Request suggestions on how can we get rid of the smell.Either diy suggestions or any specific valeting service which can help.Thank you. jctg
"Shake baking soda liberally all over the seats and carpets, leave overnight and hoover up. Repeat another time and you will find this has gotten rid of most of the smell. Spray the ceiling and door fabric with Febreze and clean the dash with a nice lemon scented cleaner. Open the windows whenever possible." Robert Poste's Child
Or try carpet/upholstery shampoo on the fabric. You could ask at the carwash by Sainsbury. They can do most things.
