We have received efficient and comprehensive advice and will writing from Nick Betteridge at Sussex Wills. He provided us with a telephone consultation and then issued the required documentation without delay. A highly recommended service and at an extremely competitive cost.

We made a will last year with a different lawyer (also called Nick as it happens!). We did it via Will Aid - a scheme where lawyers gives their time freely in exchange for a donation to the charity. November is will aid month so now is a good time to look into it.

My husband and I used Nick to write our first wills - very good service, competitively priced and even more convenient that he came to our home on a Sunday to talk us through everything, and promptly followed up with the documentation. We would recommend Nick's service.

My husband and I also used Nick to write our first wills since the arrival of our little boy. Nick came over to the house and explained the process quickly and simply. We had a few specific questions and he gave sound advice which we trusted.

A great service which I would definitely recommend. It is so important these are in place especially to cater for small children!

Thanks for all feedback - we try and tailor the service around specific needs of EDF families who are often juggling kids and careers - we run a once a month EDF will 'clinic' on a Sunday where Nick visits people in their own homes at a convenient time ( often working around nap times!)to talk through all the issues involved in the important task of drawing up a will. Nick's next EDF day is Sunday 16th November - pm me with your email address for a factsheet.

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
