Someone to teach me crochet

I would really love someone to teach me how to do basic crochet. I know some local places do courses but I'm never able to make those dates/times. I'm willing to pay for one-to-one tuition.

I'm posting this here rather than in the trades section, as I suspect it won't be a professional who will help me - just a kind local who wants to pass on their crochet passion!

Sharp works, the yarn shop at Herne Hill, runs occasional crochet classes, it looks from their web site that the one that starts this Thursday still has places, if you can't make it I think that Susan runs a waiting list for next time.

There are lots of YouTube tutorials on t'interweb. Get yourself a hook and some yarn and get started.
