There have already been other recommendations for Matt (extrapairofhands) but I would just like to reinforce these.

Matt has now completed more than one job for us (handyman work that involves a bit of strength and organisation). He has been 100% reliable, arrives on time, works efficiently, isn?t greedy and is extremely amiable ? what more could you ask for?

I?m pretty sure that he could turn his hand to all kinds of jobs and I will definitely be using him again.

I couldn?t recommend him highly enough.

hi dgastra - do you have contact details for matt? I need a couple of shelves put up and some signs on my kitchen wall. I hoped to get in contact with him for a quote etc. Can you share? I looked on the EDF but haven't been able to find them. Thanks, Cakey
Hello - Matt got in contact with me through a PM. He came round to our house today and did a great job putting up our shelves and pictures (actually old enamel signs). I highly recommend him for as a handyman - he arrived on time, was really friendly, competitively priced and efficient. His contact number is 07932639963. I will definitely use him again as he does things like painting, gardening and other odd jobs - I have already referred him to my sister! Cakey

    • Second time Aria has completed a plumbing job for me and both times he’s been polite. Communicative, kept to time and completed the job. He’s very helpful and tidy as well. First job was ball valve in water tank, not easy at all. He and his team were fantastic. This time kitchen tap cylinders replaced and tap tightened.  Much appreciated, Aria thank you.
    • Thought others may be interested to help a local community centre help others.    My bank account offers roundup and it’s been growing all year. As well as treating myself or putting it towards a train ticket to see my family I’ve made a donation to the Albrighton. They can use donations at any time but I hope my donation will go towards the Christmas hampers.    Can you support them so they can provide Christmas hampers?   https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/albrightoncommunityfridge?utm_id=1&utm_term=M22JKQb6W   A donation of £50 will pay for a hamper to feed a family over this Christmas period. A donation of £30 will pay for a hamper to feed someone living on their own over the Christmas period.
    • I've never got Christmas pudding. The only times I've managed to make it vaguely acceptable to people is thus: Buy a really tiny one when it's remaindered in Tesco's. They confound carbon dating, so the yellow labelled stuff at 75% off on Boxing Day will keep you going for years. Chop it up and soak it in Stones Ginger Wine and left over Scotch. Mix it in with a decent vanilla ice cream. It's like a festive Rum 'n' Raisin. Or: Stick a couple in a demijohn of Aldi vodka and serve it to guests, accompanied by 'The Party's Over' by Johnny Mathis when people simply won't leave your flat.
    • Not miserable at all! I feel the same and also want to complain to the council but not sure who or where best to aim it at? I have flagged it with our local MP and one Southwark councillor previously but only verbally when discussing other things and didn’t get anywhere other than them agreeing it was very frustrating etc. but would love to do something on paper. I think they’ve been pretty much every night for the last couple of weeks and my cat is hating it! As am I !
