Finding the right personal trainer can be time consuming and can sometimes end in disappointment.

I have been training many many people and sharing their successes throughout the years.

I like to get feedback and listen to their needs, so I recently sent an online survey to 40 of my clients. They very kindly completed it despite needing to chase some of them!

Please see the results:

I found Gokay over 2 years ago and from day one he?s been an amazing influence on my ever-stressful life. In our first year together I lost 30lbs and gained so much confidence. Every time I?ve needed help, he has been there and he helped prepare me for my 10k race for life, something I never imagined being able to do. He is very knowledgeable has a massive heart and a gentle approach. Thank you Gokay for all your continued help.

I have been training with Gokay for a number of years now. He is the perfect combination of professional and warm. He is skilled, thoughtful and sensible and a pleasure to work with. Because of him I am stronger, more flexible and more importantly training is really fun.
My wife signed me up to Gokay a few years ago now. I quickly overcame her insult that I needed to have a personal trainer because it was so rewarding and fun. The increase in core strength has alleviated many aches and pains and I feel much more energetic than I did before. Gokay is extremely professional & friendly. Always mixing up the sessions so they don't get boring. Would highly recommend him.

If you want to tone up/lose weight after the Christmas binge I would highly recommend Gokay as a personal trainer.

I have been training with him for almost 6 months now and feel better in myself, as well as healthy and toned. The training is always outside, whatever the weather, but always different so I never get bored, He is a lovely guy, and very enthusiastic and supportive.

Gokay is very professional and before he took me on as a client I had to fill out a medical questionnaire, and he recorded weight, blood pressure and wanted to know what I wanted to get out of the training.

Gokay used to train my 14 year old son also, and I would recommend him for the younger clients too.

Feel free to e mail me if you want to ask any more questions

I have just come back from my personal training session in dulwich park with Gokay. I feel great after the session and fully worked out. Gokay varies the exercises which keeps you motivated and he spurs you on even when you think you can't keep going. He knows just how far to push and the results speak for themselves as I am fitter and more toned than I have been for a long time. Thanks Gokay, another great session.

I?ve been using Gokay for two years. Initially I needed a kick to become active, the expensive gym membership wasn?t being used.

Through him I realised that I preferred exercising outdoors using the great parks in the local area (in all weather) to being indoors in a soulless gym. The gym membership stopped and I now simply run between sessions. I?ve found this to be both cost and time efficient.

Sessions are always fun and innovative (but not gimmicky) he is good at realising when I might just want to box, take it relatively easy or push myself hard.

Highly recommended and unlike the gym I look forward to each session.

    • The step means Love Dulwich is not disabled friendly though they went to help someone on  crutches up the step last time we were there  much prefer it as a Turkish than café but maybe not for this group   The noise level might be an issue as it’s all hard surfaces though I don’t recall it being noisy. check out Olivelli the menu has a good range  though it’s not the best Italian you can get. There’s also a step up into Maria’s - much smaller but you need to negotiate the step and door at the same time. Olivelli has more room and if I remember right the toilets are on the ground floor. A consideration if steps are an issue The Lordship might be an option. Noise is not usually an issue. We’ve enjoyed various meals there. The ladies toilets are on the same floor as the tables (the gents may be upstairs). The staff are always friendly

    • But all those examples sell a wide variety of things,  and mostly they are well spread out along Lordship Lane. These two shops both sell one very specific thing, albeit in different flavours, and are just across the road from each other. I don't think you can compare the distribution of shops in Roman times to the distribution of shops in Lordship Lane in the twenty first century. Well, you can, but it doesn't feel very appropriate. Haa anybody asked the first shop how they feel? Are they happy about the "healthy competition" ?
