My first car was a 15 year old Datsun Pulsar (here's a pic) Well it was 15 years old 15 years ago.

I loved that car. It made a beeping sound when you put it in reverse.

Mine was rusty/gold just like in the picture but it had a red D for Datsun on the wheel trims.

I sold it to my mechanic and he put fur on the dashboard and tinted the windows. He also never gave me back the Metalica tape that was in the radio.

I've got a sister in Toronto who's a nurse

and I've had a bit of bother laying turf

It's life not books that's taught me all I've learnt

wherp! in that oven my rice pudding's getting burnt

Ere! Have you seen the new attachment on me drill

I must have the cat put down because he's ill.

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
