2) Salt Yard (although Spanish / Italian so arguably not bona fide espanol, but pretty bloody brilliant - courgette flowers with goats cheese and honey in particular)

El Rincon Latino on Clapham Manor Street is rather good. Haven't been in Barcelona for ages despite it being at the bottom of my street.

Would real lemons put up any better of a fight? I mean, at the end of the day, they're still lemons, and as such ill-equipped for close combat.

hmmm, wasn't suggesting the anthropomorphisation of the lemons - more that the armies that marched on plastic lemons would be riddled with scurvy and consequently a bit weak and possibly too depressed to fight
