how to get to the dome from ed

I have to get to the O2 Dome and haven't a clue other than a minicab.

How do I get there by public transport please?

Train to london bridge and tube is easiest - but i think the jubilee line is currently suspended.

i would suggest the buses, or boat along thames from london bridge.

Jubilee is only suspended North Greenwich to Stratford so train to London Bridge and then Jubilee line is probably best.

If you're going to matter they run a boat from Tower Bridge all night

I went on the Thames clipper. It was great. Train to London Bridge and then hop on the boat wich takes you directly to the O2.

What did you / are you going to do?

The plan was to see the jazz festival last Saturday night, I did not get there due to the blackwall tunnel being blocked and the friends who were spared the tunnel fiasco said it was a 'dire event' with appalling accoustics and the whole place decked out as a crap shopping mall.

So we're not doing that again.

It was very nice of everyone who took the trouble to explain the possible routes, thank you all once again.

My next door neighbour is a Captain on the 24 Hour Boat Service to The Dome.

Well worth a try.
