I vaguely recall having some kind of cheese roll or something in there.


Must have been the evening Dan Maitland was singing soon after they opened, I think.


The food wasn't exactly memorable, anyway - certainly sushi wasn't available!

    • Central and local government are going to have to do multiple things at once (as opposed to the James Barber approach of "there are other things that need to be done by other people elsewhere, so we shouldn't approve building new housing here"). £200m across multiple councils across the whole of England and Wales is not going to crowd out opportunities to build more social housing and to approve other housing built at private expense.
    • Question for those with children at DVIS: how do you manage the limited number of places at the after-school wraparound care? In reality - does everyone who wants a place get one because so many don't need it? What alternative wraparound care are people using? Thanks!
