OK, OK - I admit it, I am Batdog! I do not know who Karter is though.

I didn't want to admit talking to myself, but my husband reads my private messages, and he knows what a flirt I am, so the best thing all around is if I flirt with myself... I know it is rather sad, but this way I get to keep my shoe allowance and no-one gets a punch on the nose!

Hi D-Mum,

You know I am not married yet ( marriage between dogs hasn't been legalised yet and also I haven't found the right "bitch" yet ) ( bitch in my dog's world is a female ).... >:D< However and whenever you decide to renounce your monthly "luxury goods" allowance.... you know where to find me... (it's only few hours flight to my remote caribbean retreat)

    • Some of you may have never been to a post office on a Saturday when one or more people are posting their ebay parcels and you wait yonks.  Just one of those things.  I'm more concerned about the speed of the Royal Mail.  I may start a thread on this!
    • If you're going British, Marks and Sparks do a fantastic Cornish Cruncher Cheddar (get the three year old if it's on offer) and a Stilton/Stichelton which are wrapped in something more like wax paper.  I'm pretty sure they used to do a Stinking Bishop which had minimal plastic wrapping, as well.
    • Thanks to everybody for the responses. Agree that £50-60 is somewhat excessive so supermarket is likely to be the route we take.
    • If you can track down the owners of the now defunct Heritage Cheese in the village, there could be some stock-clearance bargains if you don't mind your cheese a little pre-nibbled.
