What's everybody doing today? It's sunny and warm hooray! It seems too nice to just hang around the parks and north cross road, that's what we do every weekend - rain, snow, hail etc...are there any fairs etc on today? I think I saw St. John's fair is on today? Is it at the school or on goose green?

We've just got back from Nunhead Cemetry open day - really lovely day out- cakes, owls, wood turning and lots of interesting local social initiatives.

Not today but as the sunshine is meant to be here again tomorrow can I put in a plug for the Heber car boot sale, from 9.30am Sunday morning at Heber School? Loads of brilliant bargains, old baby/toddler toys/clothes/equipment and household items, and always a lovely friendly atmosphere.

we trekked down to Hastings for our first paddle of the year! It was lovely, in fact, busy but not too bad. Visited the Jerwood, had a ride on the mini railway and then went to Bateman's which was nice and quiet after the hustle of Hastings.
