Huguenot
What do we think to this? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/450-content-warnings/ Share on other sites
mockney piers
Well it would seem bloggy types are less than enthusedI guess it all still boils down to moderation policies. The sort of people willing to dish out death threats online aren't far removed from the idiots who threaten world cup referees and the like. They're not put off doing so by the law so a pretty picture in the corner won't stop them. That said, categorising a blog or forum so people can easily see where a site lies in the death threat - slanging match - polite - dull spectrum isn't such a bad idea. Mark
Interesting but this forum isn't a blog, is slightly moderated, there's not a "anything goes" policy and anonymous comments aren't allowed. I agree that people should take responsibility for their words and having looked at the draft I think this site adheres to most of what's written. Keef
I definitely agree with the no anonymous comments thing. If people are going to make big statements, or have a go at someone, they should have the backbone to put their name to it!
