After a sudden heavy shower a week or so ago, I noticed the flowering shrub laden with bumble bees I'd admired on my way out was still laden on my way back, only the bees were now sodden and comatose. I managed to get about 20 indoors where they were revived with lashings of honey and released in fine fettle. I used tissue paper at the bottom of the collection pot to wick the water away.
