Hi Fizzy Hope you are still on here? Thanks for the interesting information. My Gt Gt Grandfather Richard Isaac 1830 - 1897, opened his Bakers shop on Whateley Rd by 1873. He also had a Gardener business, market gardening, on Lordship Lane. I have never found an image showing his shops; or an advert for either. Don you know if any exists? Hevhad 8 daughters I have a photo of my Gt Grandmother with a unique basket of flowers form his shop. From 1891. -
I get magpies and blackbirds on the roof, I'm pretty sure I saw birds of prey flying over burgess park way. I did an rspb walk in Burgess park and saw a cormorant and if I remember correctly, some Egyptian geese
